About The Position

At Mechasys, we believe the construction industry deserves tools as precise and innovative as the finished article it creates. That’s why we’ve developed the XR Projector, a state-of-the-art 3D positioning tool that brings blueprints to life, directly on the job site. Using BIM/CAD models, our XR Projector projects blueprints at a 1:1 scale with millimetre accuracy, eliminating guesswork, cutting rework by up to 50%, and helping teams complete projects faster and smarter. As we scale, we’re looking for talented individuals to join our mission and help shape the future of construction technology. This is not a typical Inside Sales role. You are joining an already highly successfull SDR team at a high-growth, deep-tech company. Your mission is to generate the initial pipeline, qualifying complex, high-value leads as we scale. We need a "hunter" who is meticulous, relentless, and eager to support a critical function of the company.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a B2B sales role (e.g., SDR, BDR, Inside Sales), preferably in a high-growth startup.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas through outbound prospecting.
  • Experience with complex, high-ACV (Average Contract Value) sales cycles (e.g., deep-tech, hardware, or complex enterprise SaaS).
  • Meticulous attention to detail. You must be obsessed with data hygiene and CRM discipline.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English; French is a major asset).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ConTech (Construction Technology), robotics, or a related hardware/SaaS field.
  • Familiarity with the personas and business model of the commercial construction industry.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered sales augmentation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume, targeted outbound prospecting campaigns (personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging) to Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) in the construction industry (e.g., General Contractors, BIM Managers, VPs of Operations).
  • Research key accounts to identify project opportunities and map organizational structures to find the "Champion" and "Technical Validator."
  • Develop and iterate on outbound messaging in collaboration with leadership.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all new business, managing and qualifying both inbound and outbound-generated leads.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand a prospect's current layout processes, technical requirements, project timelines, and purchasing authority.
  • Master the Mechasys value proposition and sales methodology to skillfully navigate objections and differentiate us from legacy methods.
  • Book qualified, high-value product demonstrations and meetings for the executive and field sales teams.
  • As the primary user, you will be responsible for ensuring our CRM is clean, accurate, and the single source of truth.
  • Meticulously log all sales activities, update lead/contact/opportunity statuses, and clean existing data.
