About The Position

Join Turbine as a Sales Development Representative and help virtualize biological experiments to accelerate discovery. This remote role is based on the US East Coast. Turbine’s Virtual Lab (vLab®) enables scientists to run Virtual Assays across millions of biological conditions, helping biopharma teams explore a broader biological search space computationally before choosing what to validate in the wet lab. The company describes an integrated lab-in-the-loop workflow in which validation results strengthen subsequent predictions. Turbine reports that deployed programs have reduced decision timelines from 12–18 months to approximately two months and cut wet-lab experiments by more than 50%. Its virtual assays have supported more than 30 discovery programs with companies including MSD (Merck & Co.), AstraZeneca, and Bayer. As Turbine scales its commercial organization, the Sales Development Representative will systematically identify, engage, and develop new opportunities across target biopharma accounts, building qualified pipeline for the Business Development team. This is an account-based business development role focused on complex scientific solutions and enterprise customers with multiple scientific, technical, and business stakeholders, rather than high-volume transactional sales. The SDR will work closely with Business Development and Marketing on priority accounts, stakeholder identification, targeted outreach, conference and campaign follow-up, and conversion of initial interest into qualified commercial conversations. The position reports into Business Development, with a dotted line to Sales Operations for CRM discipline, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
