About The Position

This is an outbound-first role for someone who loves the chase — building target lists, cold calling food and beverage plants across Quebec and Canada, qualifying real opportunities, and handing warm, booked meetings to our Account Executives so they can close. The role is focused on the Food & Beverage industry, targeting bakeries, meat and poultry processors, dairy, beverage, snack and packaged-food plants, and co-packers. The Sales Development Representative will work alongside Account Executives to research target accounts, identify decision-makers, build prospecting lists, conduct high-volume cold calls and emails, qualify prospects, book meetings, and maintain accurate CRM records. The role also involves sharing market intelligence with sales and leadership.

Requirements

  • Hunter mindset: motivated by the chase, comfortable with cold outreach, and does not take "no" personally.
  • 1–4+ years in sales development, inside sales, telemarketing, or B2B customer-facing roles.
  • Clear, confident, and calm under pressure — excellent phone and email skills.
  • Resilience & discipline: ability to run high call volume and stay organized without dropping balls.
  • CRM experience (Zoho or similar).
  • Fully bilingual (French & English) — will prospect across Quebec and nationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial / distribution or F&B exposure is a plus, but drive and coachability matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts, identify decision-makers (maintenance, engineering, procurement, plant managers), and build clean prospecting lists using LinkedIn and our CRM.
  • Make high-volume cold calls and send sharp cold emails every day.
  • Run discovery before passing anything on to ensure quality over noise.
  • Schedule qualified prospects into Full Intro meetings and On-site Technical sales visits with our Account Executives.
  • Log every call, email, and opportunity in the CRM with impeccable accuracy.
  • Share market intel from the field with sales and leadership.
