About The Position

Customer Contact Services (CCS) has been answering phones for businesses since 1972, operating a 24/7/365 contact center for various industries. As a six-time Inc. 5000 honoree, CCS has handled over 20 million calls for more than 5,000 clients. The company is expanding its operations by building an in-house outbound sales engine and is seeking dedicated Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to be part of this new initiative. This role involves building the outbound sales playbook from the ground up, focusing on identifying prospects, initiating conversations, and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team. SDRs will be assigned a specific vertical and territory, utilizing a curated prospect list and engaging through phone, email, and LinkedIn.

Requirements

  • Drive and a strong desire to sell.
  • Comfort with phone outreach; preference for phone-heavy work over email.
  • Coachability; ability to receive and apply feedback quickly.
  • Curiosity to understand the businesses being called.
  • Organizational skills to manage a large prospect list.
  • Grit to persist in a numbers-driven sales environment with a long feedback loop.
  • Ability to manage a list of hundreds of prospects without letting things slip.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling is a plus.
  • Previous phone-heavy work experience (sales, recruiting, fundraising, customer service, collections, restaurant or retail work).
  • 1+ year in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or phone-based role.
  • Familiarity with tools like Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Exposure to healthcare, home services, or B2B services industries.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build targeted lead lists using Apollo.
  • Run multi-touch outreach sequences including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages.
  • Qualify prospects based on the ideal customer profile and book meetings for the sales team.
  • Achieve the primary goal of booking qualified meetings that are attended by the prospect.
  • Log all activities and maintain clean pipeline data.
  • Provide feedback on effective messages, common objections, and successful list conversions to help refine the sales playbook.
  • Work directly with the CEO and sales team, with minimal management layers.
  • Understand the assigned vertical, including customer needs, buying motivations, and common objections.
