About The Position

Responsible for generating new growth within existing strategic accounts by identifying, engaging, and qualifying under‑penetrated customer sites. Partnering closely with Strategic Account Managers, the SDR converts interest into qualified leads and meetings by delivering targeted, vertical‑specific value propositions that advance opportunities and expand customer relationships. This role is primarily focused on outbound lead generation and discovery, using high‑volume, customer‑specific engagement to uncover opportunities for product expansion, improved contract compliance, and incremental spend. As part of a collaborative account team, the SDR reinforces enterprise relationships and supports sustainable growth by enabling consultative, insight‑driven conversations with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related business experience.
  • 1-2 years of performance-based solution selling experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience positioning protective product (PPE) solutions.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience delivering virtual presentations and communicating solutions to decision-makers and influencers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong consultative selling and problem-resolution skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to commercial business systems, sales processes, and enablement technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms for pipeline and customer management.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and contributes to shared goals.
  • Available to travel to industry events (5%) domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify sales leads within cleanroom and GMP-regulated environments through outbound prospecting, sales intelligence tools, email, phone, and digital engagement.
  • Identify customer challenges related to contamination control, sterility assurance, regulatory compliance, and operator safety, and position appropriate Ansell solutions.
  • Educate prospects on Ansell’s cleanroom, sterile PPE, and chemical protection portfolio, emphasizing technical, regulatory, and business value.
  • Convert leads into Sales-Accepted Leads (SALs) through effective qualification, needs assessment, and identification of customer objectives and pain points.
  • Promote Ansell’s scientific solutions, value-added services, contamination-control programs, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives to strengthen customer value propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with Scientific Sales Specialists, Application Experts, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support customer engagement and account development strategies.
  • Support scientific marketing initiatives, including webinars, trade shows, product launches, and targeted campaigns designed to drive awareness and competitive conversions.
  • Monitor and communicate market insights, customer feedback, demand-generation performance, and opportunities for process or messaging improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, lead qualification activities, and pipeline progress within Salesforce CRM.
  • Allocate effort strategically, dedicating approximately 70% of activities to target industries and 30% to collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of cleanroom, sterile, and chemical protection products, as well as industry regulations and GMP requirements.
