Starburst is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for the Latin America (LATAM) region. This role is ideal for a top performer eager to kickstart a career in software sales. As the founding LATAM SDR, you will pioneer Starburst's presence in this major growth region, building the foundation and owning the playbook. You will be responsible for reaching out to prospective customers in Latin America with tailored hypotheses on how Starburst can solve their pain points, demonstrating cultural and market awareness. The role involves meticulous tracking of outbound activity, interacting with potential customers through various channels, and learning the basics of prospecting and discovery. You will be expected to meet and exceed lead generation quotas by conducting outbound prospecting via email, phone calls, and social media to schedule meetings for the Sales team in key LATAM markets. You will also qualify leads, assess their needs, and collaborate with regional Account Executives and cross-functional teams on LATAM-specific strategies. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA, requiring 4 days a week in the office.
