We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to identify and solicit new business. This is a unique opportunity to engage with clients to discuss advertising opportunities across multiple platforms, including podcasts, digital, radio, events, and more!

Requirements

  • At least 2 years SDR or Outbound Sales experience
  • Professional demeanor including outstanding phone etiquette
  • Ability to balance being creative and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A competitive spirit that thrives in a highly accountable, metrics driven and tech savvy selling environment

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective advertisers through industry research, business intelligence tools, company websites, and market trends
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through phone, email, social media, text messaging, and other approved channels
  • Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for Account Executives across multiple markets and business categories
  • Build and maintain target account lists aligned with business priorities
  • Personalize outreach messaging based on company initiatives, hiring trends, advertising activity, seasonal opportunities, and industry insights
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, activity, and opportunity details within CRM and sales engagement platforms
  • Conduct account research to identify decision-makers, business challenges, and potential advertising opportunities
  • Monitor outreach performance and adjust messaging strategies based on results and market feedback
  • Participate in team training sessions, coaching, role-playing exercises, and ongoing professional development
  • Support campaign launches, event outreach, webinar follow-up, and special sales initiatives as needed
  • Meet and exceed established activity, meeting, pipeline, and opportunity generation goals
  • Provide regular feedback on market conditions, competitive activity, and prospect challenges to sales leadership
  • Execute multi-touch email and social outreach campaigns
  • Research 10-20 new accounts daily
  • Book and qualify meetings for Account Executives
  • Update CRM and prospecting systems
  • Attend team huddles, coaching sessions, and strategy meetings
  • Review campaign performance and optimize outreach messaging
  • Collaborate with AEs on account prioritization and follow-up strategies
  • Execute daily outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and other outreach channels (80+ per day)
  • Research and identify leads aligned with ideal customer profiles
  • Create and deliver creative, personalized outreach to generate interest in our full range of advertising solutions
  • Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities
  • Consistently meet or exceed outreach and meeting booking goals that directly impact pipeline and revenue
  • Manage lead follow-up and maintain accurate records in CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, feedback, and continuous improvement
