Sales Development Representative Intern – Dallas
About The Position
The Echo Trailblazers internship offers a dynamic opportunity in the transportation industry, focusing on developing confidence, community, and communication skills. Interns will work on real-world projects, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to simplifying transportation for clients and carriers. This program provides hands-on experience in sales, with a focus on understanding the logistics industry and the full sales process. The company fosters a passionate and driven sales force in the 3PL space, aiming to provide solutions and solve problems for clients' diverse shipping needs.
Requirements
- Must be able to start May 24, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program
- Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
- Able to work in our Dallas office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week
- No major or GPA requirements

Responsibilities
- Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound phone calls
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and position Echo’s logistics solutions
- Deliver demos, navigate objections, negotiate pricing, and close new business
- Manage opportunities through the sales funnel and maintain strong pipeline discipline
- Set customers up for success through clear expectations and a smooth handoff after close
- Use Echo’s sales tools and technology along with AI tools to drive efficiency and results
