About The Position

SP6 is expanding its Sales Development team and is looking for a Sales Development Representative to identify and engage potential clients, generating sales opportunities for SP6's Splunk Co-Managed and Professional Services. This role is instrumental in qualifying leads and generating customer interest, with a clear path for advancement to an Account Executive role. This is a hybrid opportunity in the St Pete/Clearwater area.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a business development role.
  • Passion for sales.
  • Drive, initiative, high energy; ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads and target industries.
  • Qualify and develop inbound leads and advance business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including calling and emailing marketing qualified leads.
  • Develop an understanding of SP6’s and Splunk’s offerings.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Sales Account Executives.
  • Create a pipeline using prospecting tools.
  • Find new opportunities and quickly develop rapport with new clients.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to provide insight into business development activities and generate new pipelines.
