About The Position

The Farmers Insurance – Kim Beens Agency is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate for a 10-week summer internship based in its San Antonio, Texas office. The intern will support licensed producers with outbound calls, appointment setting, customer messages and reviews, CRM updates, and learning the agency’s insurance quoting processes. The role provides hands-on exposure to insurance sales, customer service, commercial and personal lines, and agency operations, with training and mentorship from experienced agents and agency leadership. Interns may learn the quoting process but will not quote, sell, bind, or advise customers about insurance coverage; those activities are handled by licensed agents. The internship runs from May 31 to August 6, 2027, with mandatory orientation May 26–28, 2027. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week. Students receive a $6,000 summer stipend in three installments. Housing applications are accepted after an internship has been secured. For the right candidate, the internship may lead to a licensed role and potentially the protégé program, a path to agency ownership.
