About The Position

The Sales Coordinator's primary role is to assist sales managers in improving their productivity, allowing them to focus more on selling and winning business. The Sales Coordinator is crucial in maintaining strong customer relationships by acting as an extension of the sales team. They also serve as the initial point of contact for urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales managers are unavailable.

Requirements

  • At least two years of hotel experience in sales as an administrative, coordinator, or Front Desk role.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Professional and represents the hotel both in and out of the hotel.
  • Able to multitask and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Keeps a neat and organized work area.
  • Able to communicate to all departments effectively.
  • Able to work independently and understands that prioritization is very important.
  • Energetic and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reaches out to the client and introduces themselves the moment the business becomes definite and the Sales Manager has turned over the contract.
  • Responsible for sending out banquet event orders to clients in a timely manner as delegated by sales managers, then follow up on any necessary correspondences and maintaining accurate records.
  • Menu planning for banquet style services with clients.
  • Acts as a liaison between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
  • Greets all groups having meetings first thing in the morning to ensure the client is having a positive experience.
  • Contacts the technical support department when problems arise.
  • Performs necessary follow-up with clients, such as pre-cons and thank you letters to the groups.
  • Attends BEO meetings, completes required training, and respects deadlines.
