About The Position

Assist the Sales Manager in booking group business composed of hotel rooms, which may include meeting space, food and beverage functions, and property activities such as golf or spa while increasing revenues and maximizing the average daily room rate.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a timely manner

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of Delphi and LMS Office

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Manager in creating bookings and producing contracts using various sales computer systems.
  • Create the group folder with supporting documents and paperwork.
  • Answer and return telephone calls for the Sales Manager.
  • Conduct research to help the Sales Manager locate potential prospects for group business.
  • Understand and know all of Mesquite Gaming’s properties and amenities.
  • Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
  • Meet and greet all clients with a pleasant and friendly attitude via the telephone or in person.
  • Listen to the clients needs and communicate the client’s requests to the Sales Manager or other departments.
  • Provide immediate feedback to the client or deliver a message to the Sales Manager in expedient time.
