About The Position

The Sales Consultant is responsible for completing sales training and learning the skills needed to become a Sales Associate or Consultant. A minimum of three months of training is required. The role supports the sales team by assisting prospective and new homebuyers, helping with model presentations and interviews, learning local market and home-buying information, and providing sales office administrative support as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Appropriate license or certifications required by the state.
• Valid driver's license; driving is an essential function of the position.
• Strong organizational skills and a desire to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of a sales organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting interviews with prospects for current or future home sales, including model presentations.
• Assist new and prospective homebuyers as needed.
• Serve as backup to other sales team members as needed.
• Learn about local markets, competition, real estate laws and rules, public opinion, local and national trends, and governmental regulations related to home buying.
• Assist with sales office administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Complete sales training and learn the skills needed to become a Sales Associate or Consultant.
