Our Sales Consultant compensation plan is built around salary plus commission. New Sales Consultants start with a monthly salary, and as performance increases, salary levels increase with it. In addition to salary, Sales Consultants earn per-unit compensation on vehicles delivered and may qualify for monthly performance bonuses, elite production accelerators, Salesperson of the Month bonuses, and annual elite bonus opportunities for sustained high performance. Requirements

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Comfortable using technology, CRM tools, texting, email, video, and social media
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Prior automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers professionally and create a great first impression
  • Respond quickly to internet, phone, and digital leads
  • Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and match them with the right vehicle
  • Present vehicles, explain features, and conduct professional test drives
  • Follow the Walt Massey Road to the Sale process with every customer
  • Build value, overcome objections, and ask for the business
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity in the CRM
  • Complete daily customer outreach through calls, texts, emails, and personalized videos
  • Follow up with sold and unsold customers to create repeat and referral opportunities
  • Ask for reviews and referrals after every delivery
  • Use social media to promote inventory, customer deliveries, and the Walt Massey brand
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Maintain a positive, professional appearance and attitude every day
