About The Position

Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) is seeking a Sales Clerk in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 1946, VCS has served Veterans enrolled in the Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system. The Sales Clerk helps customers locate products and provides information to support their shopping experience; processes sales accurately; restocks and labels merchandise; and keeps the store clean and organized. Other duties may be assigned.

Employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Continued employment after the trial period requires written certification that it advances the public interest. Selective Service registration is required for males born after December 31, 1959, and the position is subject to a background/security investigation. A current, valid REAL ID is required.

The role requires constant standing and walking, frequent bending, and the ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted. A federal employee benefits package is referenced, but specific benefits depend on the position and should be confirmed with the hiring agency.

Requirements
