About The Position

Talbots is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Leesburg Premium Outlets store. The role focuses on delivering meaningful customer service, promoting merchandise, building customer relationships, and supporting store business and operations. Associates use fashion expertise and product knowledge to style customers, meet sales and service metrics, and contribute to a collaborative store team. The position requires 15 to 20 hours of weekly availability, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

• Have open availability of 15 to 20 hours per week and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support service enhancers, including active use of Concierge, to build strong relationships.
• Serve multiple customers at a time, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and learn about new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and suggest items that meet customers’ needs.
• Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize individual performance.
• Achieve sales and service metrics, including clienteling and outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete assigned projects and operational tasks, including filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
