About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of the products in each store area or department and adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual standards. The Sales Associate promotes sales and promotions, represents the organization and brand, and creates a customer experience intended to acquire and retain long-term customers. The role also supports daily store operations and works to meet or exceed sales goals.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including greeting and assisting customers and supporting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by maintaining effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
