About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Sales Professionals guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy. They provide gracious service, use fashion and product knowledge, and cultivate long-term client relationships in store and online. Through welcoming, engaging conversations, they create a personal connection and support customers throughout the shopping experience. Sales Professionals circulate the sales floor, identify customer needs, explain Loyalty programs, and deliver operational excellence through the store fulfillment system, merchandise-to-sell standards, and upkeep of the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; the role may also involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
