About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other assigned duties. Work is expected to be professional, courteous, reliable, and results-oriented. The standard work week is a minimum of 35 hours and a maximum of 40 hours. The role may involve working in multiple stores within the assigned district and requires flexibility to meet customer and business needs.

Requirements

Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision, including taking charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and an interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Ability to work as part of a team, handle responsibility, and understand the needs of the street lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships by providing professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable assistance in selecting appropriate products.
Apply basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend merchandise and maintain DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring and identifying loss or inconsistencies and supporting shrink goals.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support employee training in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting against shoplifting and internal theft and following loss-prevention and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money received during assigned shifts, and work with management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and other relevant information.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
