About The Position

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, answering product questions, cashiering, product assembly, housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the manager. Knowledge of clothing products is required. The position is 20 hours per week and requires nights and weekends. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of clothing products.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Frequent bending and twisting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
