About The Position
The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store and provides excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, handling cashier responsibilities, answering product-related questions, assembling products, performing general housekeeping, and completing other duties assigned by the manager. Knowledge of clothing products is required. This is a 20-hour-per-week position, and nights and weekends are required. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. The role is performed in a retail store environment, including cold and warm conditions, with an irregular work schedule. Physical requirements include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
- Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
