About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. This role requires knowledge of products across store departments, adherence to company policies and visual standards, and active promotion of sales and merchandise. The Sales Associate represents the organization and brand, creates a distinctive customer experience, and helps acquire and retain customers. The position supports daily store operations and works to achieve sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service. It is part-time and based at The Village Of Mableton in Mableton, Georgia.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, customer service, and product knowledge manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
