About The Position

Splendeur at Mohegan Sun is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and helpful Sales Associate to serve customers at its gadgets and electronics store. The store offers products for the home, office, and travel, including luggage, travel accessories, speakers, headphones, and gadgets. Retail experience is not required in the job summary, although the requirements list one year of customer-service experience in retail or a similar environment.

Sales Associates prioritize customers by engaging them, identifying their needs, sharing product knowledge, and suggesting relevant or complementary merchandise. They also support store operations by receiving and organizing products, merchandising, and cleaning. Associates follow company policies and procedures and contribute to a safe, positive, and consistent customer experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year supporting daily operations, policy compliance, loss prevention, and visual or store standards.
• At least 1 year delivering a customer-first experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or similar environment.
• Strong customer focus and ability to interact effectively with customers and team members in a retail setting.
• Dependable and reliable, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check prior to being interviewed.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-sales tasks, including product receiving, merchandising, store cleaning, and product organization, as directed by management.

• Suggest relevant and complementary merchandise to support customer needs and store sales.
• Maintain current product knowledge and communicate product features and benefits.
• Help customers find substitutions for out-of-stock items or arrange special orders.
• Work with other staff members to provide a consistent customer experience.
