About The Position

Primark is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to help customers find products and deliver a positive in-store experience. The role includes supporting customers with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns; maintaining the shop floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom; operating till points; and receiving and preparing deliveries. The starting base hourly rate is $16.00, with a $0.50 increase after 6 months and another $0.50 increase after 1 year of continued employment. Pay is based on the candidate’s geographic region of work.

The position involves standing and walking for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, and moving throughout the sales floor and stockroom. Physical tasks include bending, reaching, handling merchandise, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items. Depending on assigned responsibilities, colleagues may be trained and authorized to operate balers and pallet jacks. Reasonable accommodations are available as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns, providing an excellent in-store experience.
• Maintain an appealing shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms.
• Keep the stockroom tidy and well organized.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receive, unpack, and check off new deliveries.
• Move products onto the shop floor and ensure they are correctly priced and meet company standards.
• When assigned and properly trained and authorized, operate equipment such as balers and manual or electric pallet jacks.
