About The Position

L.L.Bean is hiring a temporary, part-time Sales Guide for its outdoor gear and apparel departments at the Shoppes at Towne Center in Fayetteville, New York. The role delivers customer service, represents the L.L.Bean brand, supports sales and customer loyalty, maintains store presentation, and contributes to a collaborative team environment. The work is varied and adapts to daily business needs, with an emphasis on product knowledge, technology-enabled service, and making customers feel welcome.

Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, or fingers; occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift 1 to 20 pounds; and occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds, using a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

Turn customer interactions into sales opportunities and build brand loyalty through exceptional service.
Work collaboratively and respectfully with team members and customers across a variety of differences.
Listen actively to understand customer needs and resolve problems efficiently at the first point of contact.
Use point-of-sale systems, customer systems, and mobile devices to provide seamless omnichannel service.
Promote L.L.Bean-sponsored programs, including the Outdoor Discovery School and L.L.Bean Mastercard program.
Keep the store organized, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations.
Collaborate with the team to achieve results, foster a positive work environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
Follow safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe, healthy workplace.
