About The Position

As a Sales Associate at the Mississippi Aquarium, you’ll help create enjoyable and memorable shopping experiences for guests. You’ll welcome and engage with guests, demonstrate products, share product knowledge, and make personalized recommendations. You’ll also support daily store operations, including restocking shelves and creating displays, while working collaboratively with team members and store staff. The position requires availability for irregular hours, including weekdays, weekends, early evenings, and holidays, and involves being on your feet and moving around the store.

Requirements

• Available to work irregular hours, including weekdays, weekends, early evenings, and holidays.
• Enjoys meeting people and can comfortably engage guests of all ages.
• Enthusiastic about sharing product knowledge and making recommendations.
• Welcoming, positive, and able to collaborate with team members and store staff.
• Able to remain on their feet and move around the store; may need to reach, bend, stoop, or crawl occasionally.
• Able to occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, cash handling, merchandising, or customer service.
