About The Position

The Sales Associate drives sales by assisting customers with their buying experience and generating sales on the retail floor. The role is responsible for meeting performance goals, driving personal sales, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to every Purple customer. It offers opportunities to develop selling skills and product knowledge in a positive work environment. This is a seasonal, part-time position with an expected end date of November 30, 2026; the date may change based on business needs. The position is expected to work approximately 15–29 hours per week, though actual hours may vary. Compensation is $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfort learning and adapting to new technology.
Strong interpersonal communication capabilities and effective communication skills.
Customer service-oriented attitude.
Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
Desire to improve selling behavior and problem-solving.
Ability to learn and communicate product knowledge to match customer needs.
Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing, repeated reaching or bending, moving objects up to 50 pounds, and lifting up to 200 pounds with a team lift or equipment.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience working in a retail environment is strongly preferred.
