About The Position

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and sales techniques. Requirements

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and an interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate inventory control, transport merchandise, and maintain the store.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
