About The Position

Benjamin Moore & Co. is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Sales Associate to develop sales experience and product expertise as part of its field sales team. The position begins with a 10–12-week onboarding program covering the paint and coatings industry, products, programs, and services. Training includes working with teams across R&D, Marketing, Sales Operations, Manufacturing and Distribution, Color and Design, and retailer locations; attending product and sales training; taking part in sales and networking events; and applying coatings to learn how to diagnose product-performance issues. After onboarding, the Sales Associate gradually assumes Territory Representative responsibilities, progressing as they demonstrate the required knowledge and competencies and as a territory becomes available. The role supports territory sales, customer relationships, and business growth. Relocation within a designated region is required when the program concludes and an assigned territory becomes available, usually within 8–12 months of hire. The role may require travel of up to 80%, sometimes overnight.
