About The Position
Nordstrom is hosting a hiring event for regular and seasonal positions at its Downtown Portland store on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applicants may arrive at any time during the event without scheduling in advance. Interviews take approximately one hour, and on-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. A resume is welcome but not required. Openings include commission sales positions in women’s apparel; kids’ apparel and shoes; lingerie and activewear; women’s and men’s shoes; and accessories and jewelry, as well as store-support positions in order fulfillment. Sales pay is $17.05 per hour. Order fulfillment pay is $19.15–$19.95 per hour. Pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; pay for other roles is listed in their individual postings. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and applicants who cannot attend the event may still be considered.
