About The Position
Nordstrom is hosting a National Hiring Event at Nordstrom Tacoma on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Candidates may arrive at any time during the event without scheduling an interview in advance. Applicants should follow the hiring-event signs or ask a Nordstrom employee for directions. Bringing a resume is welcome but not required, and candidates should allow approximately one hour for the interview process. On-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. Nordstrom is hiring for seasonal and regular roles in various departments. The listed pay ranges are $22.55–$23.45 per hour for Customer Service, Sales Support, and Stock, Fulfillment and Delivery; Sales pays $21.90 per hour. Pay offers vary by location and depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commission for most selling employees varies by merchandise: apparel, shoes, and accessories typically range from 3% to 14.5%, while Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive 3%. Some roles may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. The standard physical requirements include continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers; frequent hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling; and handling bulky or awkward items, including reaching above the head. Employees regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Stock/Logistics roles frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities
