About The Position
Kiokii And is a North American retail platform specializing in Asian cosmetics, skincare, beauty, accessories, and lifestyle products. The company is opening a new store at Tysons Corner Centre in Tysons, Virginia, and is hiring a Sales Associate. The Sales Associate provides friendly, professional customer service and product knowledge, helps customers find products suited to their needs, and supports accurate transactions through the point-of-sale system and loyalty program. The role also assists with receiving, organizing, counting, labeling, and presenting inventory; store setup and opening; and maintaining a clean, organized, safe retail environment. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for the Asian beauty industry and commitment to learning, sharing product knowledge, and keeping up with products and trends.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented, friendly, and energetic approach.
- Problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing customer and inventory needs.
- Basic math proficiency for inventory counts and loss-prevention support.
- Ability to adhere to company policies and workplace safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods, and to bend, stoop, and reach for products.
- Comfort using ladders or step stools to access higher shelves or stock.
- Willingness to work in a retail environment that may have moderate noise, bright lighting, or temperature fluctuations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers enthusiastically and provide a friendly, professional shopping experience.
- Ask open-ended questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products using product knowledge.
- Stay informed about current sales and in-store promotions and communicate them to customers.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and Kiokii Loyalty Reward Membership Program.
- Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage in a timely manner.
- Organize products on shelves and in storage areas and follow inventory procedures to maintain stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies or overstock situations.
- Ensure products are correctly labeled, priced, and presented according to store standards.
- Support store opening and setup.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
