About The Position

The Sales Associate supports Reformation’s retail business by achieving individual sales goals and contributing to an elevated, customer-first in-store experience. The role focuses on building lasting client relationships, representing the brand, sharing its sustainability story, and helping maintain store standards, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention. The position reports to the Store Manager.

This is a part-time role in Valencia requiring at least 20 hours per week and at least three days per week, including weekends. Employees must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays when required by business needs. The anticipated base hourly pay range is $16–$25, depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity.

Requirements

• Experience working with a sales or retail organization and/or an operationally intensive business.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
• A driven approach to taking on new challenges and self-motivation in work and career.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assist in generating clientele through customer engagement.
• Contribute to an in-store experience that surprises and delights customers.
• Promote an excellent client experience with a customer-first mindset and build long-term loyal client relationships.
• Act as a brand ambassador, embody brand values, engage customers with the brand, and share Reformation’s stories, with a focus on sustainability education.
• Maintain strong customer experience feedback and service evaluation scores through NPS.
• Support consistent inventory accuracy and controls in the store.
• Contribute to loss prevention across the business.
• Uphold the time and attendance policy.
• Ensure the selling floor consistently reflects brand and concept standards.
• Share product knowledge with genuine enthusiasm.
• Communicate product feedback based on customer feedback to help improve products and merchandising.
• Help ensure the store environment is inspiring and products are easily accessible.
• Reflect Reformation’s core values and culture in all efforts.
