Sales Associate – Optical - Part Time

About The Position

America's Best is part of National Vision, one of the largest optical retailers in the United States, with more than 1,000 stores. The Sales Associate helps deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting store operations and sales goals. The role includes assisting customers with eyewear selection based on lifestyle, prescription, and budget; dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses and providing lens training as permitted by state law; and educating customers about eyewear and contact lens care. The associate also maintains customer and patient records, communicates order status, answers phone calls, helps keep the store clean and organized, maintains visual merchandising standards, and supports inventory control and loss prevention. Duties and practices may vary to comply with state licensing or credential requirements. The store is closed on Sundays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skilled at multitasking and handling a fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service while supporting store sales goals.
Help customers select eyewear based on their lifestyle, prescription, and budget.
Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses and provide lens training, as permitted by state law.
Educate customers on eyewear and contact lens care.
Maintain accurate customer and patient records.
Communicate order status and answer incoming phone calls.
Keep the store clean, organized, and visually merchandised to brand standards.
Support inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
