About The Position

GNC Sales Associates are part-time hourly team members who help customers discover products and solutions suited to their needs and goals. They welcome customers, provide product advice and recommendations, and represent GNC’s “Live Well” message. The role also includes restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising and store appearance, fulfilling online orders, cleaning, and supporting store management with store operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Able to frequently reach, bend, and twist below the waist and above the shoulders, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, and push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas.
• Able to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Able to work varied hours and days, including nights or mornings for store opening or closing, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet and welcome customers and create a welcoming environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products using product knowledge.
• Work to achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders accurately and promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and operating the store, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, and perform cleaning duties.
