Responsibilities

Greet customers courteously and provide exceptional customer service.
Help customers locate products and answer questions about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
Operate cash registers and POS systems to process cash, card, and other electronic payments.
Keep the store, shelves, displays, and product arrangements clean and organized.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays, rotating and organizing products properly.
Monitor inventory and notify a supervisor when products need restocking.
Follow procedures for handling cash, coupons, and store discounts.
Maintain knowledge of products, new arrivals, and promotions.
Check expiration dates and remove expired or damaged products.
Follow food safety and handling procedures for perishable items.
Work with team members to support store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Address customer complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Follow company policies and safety and security procedures.
Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
