About The Position

Honey Birdette is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to join its team at Garden State. The role involves working with a high-performing team in a positive, collaborative environment to create a premium, red-carpet shopping experience for clients and meet or exceed sales expectations. The ideal candidate is polished, charismatic, energetic, positive, approachable, and outgoing.

The position includes delivering customer service, achieving sales goals, building client relationships and outreach, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting store presentation and operations. The role is in a retail environment focused on lingerie, bedroom accessories, and sexual wellness products. Employees may encounter sexually provocative clothing and imagery, explicit or suggestive language and content, and discussions of sexuality and anatomy. The position requires standing and walking for up to eight hours per shift and performing a range of physical tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a retail, client-facing, or customer service role.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with sales principles.
• Positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to provide high-standard customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Energetic, proactive approach and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Basic computer skills and experience using POS software and inventory management tools.
• Sales-driven mentality and ability to achieve high sales expectations.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Unrestricted access to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds; stand and walk for up to eight hours per shift; perform repetitive hand and wrist motions, bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and climbing ladders; and work with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to use mobile devices and computers, read instructions and information on computer or register screens, and enter information into a computer daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to overall team performance.
• Achieve lingerie, toy, and bondage sales goals.
• Grow clienteling and Instagram followers outreach.
• Read Honey Communications and maintain in-depth product knowledge to answer client questions and provide recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with clients, team members, and management.
• Attend training sessions and complete “The Hive” tasks.
• Maintain a visually appealing, organized, and operationally sound store, including restocking merchandise and keeping displays clean and tidy.
• Use product knowledge to upsell, style clients, and deliver premium client experiences.
• Resolve client complaints diplomatically and promptly, escalating them to a Boutique Manager when necessary.
• Follow company policies and operational procedures.
