About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Its central priorities are customer service, sales, and teamwork.

Requirements

Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic knowledge of fashion and style trends and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate inventory control, transport merchandise, and maintain the store.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate merchandise, and build customer relationships while maintaining DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
