About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of products across store departments, compliance with company policies and visual standards, and active promotion of sales and merchandise. The associate represents the organization and brand by creating a positive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The position supports daily store operations, including completing work lists, cleaning, processing weekly shipments, and maintaining the store. It has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player with a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and helping multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in applicable manuals and communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by maintaining effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
