About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and support of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. This seasonal position is performed in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. It involves continuous movement and standing, as well as walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional associates are needed. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products. The position pays $14.00–$16.00 per hour and is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by law.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform tasks involving walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Engage customers and showcase products to drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide service that supports customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash-handling policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
- Follow safety protocols and report injuries, hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager immediately.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow dress code standards and wear the provided apron at all times.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
