Seasonal Sales Associate - Danbury Fair

About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends while providing an exceptional customer experience. The role executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes positively to the store team. Associates deliver customer-focused service, support sales and operational goals, execute visual and digital sales strategies, and help maintain an organized, clean, and safe store environment. This is a seasonal, part-time role requiring flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods, with availability for 20–40 hours per week.

Requirements

Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to talk and hear regularly; sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel items, reach, twist, and squat.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations according to policies and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership in escalated matters.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Promote an organized, clean, and safe working and shopping environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, the Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies; report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with leadership to help improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand and maintain its fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
Contribute to a positive working environment by exhibiting core value behaviors.
