About The Position

A part-time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by delivering strong customer service and applying selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate supports shipments, merchandising, restocking, pricing, visual standards, inventory presentation, loss prevention, and maintaining an organized sales environment. The role also follows company policies, participates in service training and product programs, and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify customer needs, sell appropriate merchandise, follow DTLR standards, and build customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
