About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. In this action-packed department, you make a lasting impression on customers’ shopping experiences by building relationships and developing brand knowledge to meet customer needs. The role includes assisting customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes; processing sales transactions; and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the department and shoe stock room. Associates should be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts. Von Maur describes itself as a family-owned company whose culture is built around supporting and valuing employees. Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Build customer relationships to grow sales.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Use product knowledge and information about store services to support the customer experience.
- Process POS transactions and enter account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
