About The Position

Join the Acme Tools Team as a Sales Associate in Grand Forks, ND! This role is for individuals who are problem-solvers, enjoy helping customers with tools and equipment, and are motivated by sales challenges. The position offers evenings, most weekends, and holidays off, and is with a stable, growing, family-owned local company. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, operating Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software
• Proven communication skills
• The ability to work a rotating Saturday shift

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting guests professionally
• Identifying customer needs
• Ensuring customers choose the right tools or equipment
• Handling sales transactions, including closing and invoicing
• Product loading
• Staying informed about Acme Tools' product offerings
• Answering customer questions
• Providing sales quotes
• Assisting with equipment purchases
• Following up with customers
• Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor
• Actively participating in store events
• Prioritizing safety standards
• Completing assigned tasks efficiently
