Sales Associate (Tuesday-Saturday Schedule)
About The Position
Acme Tools is hiring a full-time Sales Associate at its store in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week during store operating hours, Tuesday through Saturday. Sales Associates provide professional customer service, help customers identify and select appropriate tools and equipment, and support sales transactions from quoting through invoicing and product loading. They maintain knowledge of Acme Tools' products, follow up with customers, keep the sales floor clean and organized, participate in store events, and complete assigned tasks while prioritizing safety.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
- Proven communication skills.
- Ability to work the stated Tuesday-through-Saturday schedule, including a rotating Saturday shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for the duration of a shift; and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers professionally, identify their needs, and help them select suitable tools or equipment.
- Handle sales transactions, including closing, invoicing, and product loading.
- Stay informed about Acme Tools' product offerings.
- Answer customer questions, provide sales quotes, and assist with equipment purchases.
- Follow up with customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Participate in store events.
- Follow safety standards and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
