About The Position

The Sales Associate will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, supporting the Channel Sales Director, and preparing sales reports. This position will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaunt with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position will require travel. If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication, and understand consumer behavior, PTS has an opportunity for you. This position will collaborate with our Channel Sales Director and sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services. Please note this role is for the territory covering Virginia/District of Columbia.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence, periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM software and MS Office is preferred.
  • One to Three years of experience in sales is preferred.
  • Some technical background is preferred.

  • Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales within an assigned territory.
  • Ensure brand awareness within an assigned territory meets company expectations.
  • Effectively utilize CRM to maintain and develop assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification.
  • Work effectively in a home-based environment.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely submission of all sales reports including sales forecast, activity reports, and other required administrative documentation.
  • Provide regular updates and appropriate tracking of customer activity.
  • Delivery of product presentations, engaging the appropriate decision makers, to support overall sales objectives.
  • Comply with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements.
  • Adopt a "quality in everything we do" approach to all aspects of the execution of responsibilities.
  • Remain alert to any potential compliance situations and report such observations to managers and the Head of Quality.
