About The Position

Talbots is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at its Westfield Annapolis store. The associate provides meaningful customer service, promotes products, builds relationships with customers, and supports store business and operations. The role involves styling customers using product and fashion knowledge, serving multiple customers, meeting sales and service metrics, and completing operational assignments. The position requires availability for 15 to 20 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The hourly pay range is $15.00 to $18.75.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
Availability for 15 to 20 hours per week, including flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
Assist the management team in building store business.
Use service enhancers, including Concierge, to build strong relationships.
Serve multiple customers at a time and handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Stay informed about fashion trends and new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion details.
Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items suited to customers’ needs.
Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize performance.
Achieve sales and service metrics, including clienteling and outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
Complete assigned projects and operational tasks, including filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
