About The Position
A part-time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships through excellent customer service and selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and inventory activities, follows visual standards, and helps maintain an organized sales environment. The associate must be able to work in a fast-paced setting and have reliable transportation.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Use fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
- Comply with company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented as directed.
- Help prevent employee and customer theft.
- Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other assigned duties.
