About The Position

Talbots is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at its La Promenade Shoppes store in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The associate provides meaningful customer service, promotes products, builds customer relationships, and supports store business and operations. Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
Assist the management team in building store business.
Use service enhancers, including active use of Concierge, to build strong relationships.
Serve multiple customers at a time, multitask, and handle simultaneous projects.
Stay informed about fashion trends and new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion details.
Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items that meet customers’ needs.
Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize performance.
Achieve sales and service metrics, including clientelling/outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
Complete assigned projects and operational tasks, including filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
