About The Position

Carhartt WIP is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Silver Lake retail store. The associate will create a positive customer experience, use product knowledge to support sales targets, and contribute to a welcoming and professional store environment. The role includes customer engagement, in-person sales, merchandising, stocking, payment processing, and assistance with opening and closing tasks.

Requirements

• Interest in contemporary fashion, apparel, and pop culture.
• Knowledge of basic sales techniques.
• Outgoing, positive, and affable demeanor.
• Ability to bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Independent, proactive, and reliable work ethic.
• Strong knowledge of apparel fits and fabrications.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage and connect with customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Execute in-person, on-floor sales strategies.
• Share product knowledge with customers to maximize sales.
• Build customer relationships and brand knowledge through engagement.
• Maintain knowledge of seasonal collections and available inventory.
• Assist with daily opening and closing tasks and keep the store clean, neat, and tidy.
• Merchandise, stock the sales floor, and process payments.
• Work positively and professionally with the team to create a great environment for the brand, customers, and colleagues.
